3-paycheck months in 2027
If you're paid every two weeks, two months of 2027 will bring a third paycheck. Which two depends on just two things: the weekday you're paid and which of the two biweekly "cycles" you're on.

Why holiday paydays change the answer
January 1, 2027 is a Friday and a federal holiday, so most employers pay that check on December 31, 2026. On paper, the January 1 cycle has 27 Fridays and three 3-paycheck months (January, July, December). After the holiday move it has 26 paychecks, and January has only two (January 15 and 29). If your employer pays on the holiday itself, use the "if no holiday moves" column.

Which months have 3 paychecks in 2027 for Friday biweekly pay?
July and December for the cycle with paydays on January 15 and 29 (the January 1 check is normally paid December 31, 2026). April and October if your paydays are January 8 and 22.
Are there 27 paychecks in 2027?
On paper, yes for Friday pay starting January 1, 2027, but that check is usually paid on December 31, 2026 because of New Year's Day, leaving 26 in 2027. Other weekday schedules have 26.
How do I know if I am on cycle A or cycle B?
Check the date of your first paycheck of the year. If it falls in the first week of January you are on cycle A; if it falls in the second week you are on cycle B. Or enter any payday into the free finder.
Do semimonthly paychecks have 3-paycheck months?
No. Semimonthly pay (for example the 15th and last day) is always exactly two checks a month and 24 a year.
